It’s that time of year again, football fans! Pre-season is in full swing and we’re getting ready to watch some epic games this year. And let’s not forget about finalizing those Fantasy draft picks. Once you start working out at Orangetheory Fitness Stony Brook, you won’t just be picking athletes—you’ll be turning into one yourself! From our pro-worthy workout moves to training that takes you to the next level, you’ll be on the right team.

We’re not surprised that elements of NFL workouts are similar to moves incorporated into Orangetheory sessions. Orangetheory Fitness is a full-body workout; from speed and agility to power and stability, that’s definitely what the winning plays call for. And we’re not kidding when we say athletes of all levels—from beginners right up to the NFL stars themselves!

Did you know that Brendon Ayanbadejo, former linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens, joined Orangetheory Nation after his NFL career? In a story for Sports Illustrated, Brendon said he’s now in the best shape of his life. “I have run my fastest mile and fastest three-mile times,” he said—“at the age of 39.” He even went on to operate multiple Orangetheory studios in California. “The OTF team is similar to a football team—we’re always improving on a constant basis and I’m going to do everything I can to be my best and make my team better.”

We’re always excited to cheer for new members getting ready to join our Orangetheory Fitness team here in Stony Brook, NY.
